• Operation We R Grateful, The Contest, runs June 1, 2012 through July 31, 2012.
  • Valid cards must adhere to the following guidelines:
    • Submission deadline: Tuesday July 24, 2012 at midnight.
    • Voting begins on Thursday, July 26, 2012
    • Each card must have entry form attached to the submitted card(s).
    • All cards must be homemade. No store bought cards will be allowed.
    • Cards must have a light background inside the card. Dark backgrounds must be lined with a white/light background before they cane be eligible.
    • Sentiments can be included on the front or inside of the card. These sentiments cannot be handwritten.
    • Cards must not contain any glitter or anything that can easily fall off (all embellishments must be glued securely to the card).
    • "Operation Write Home" must be visible somewhere on the back of the card. It may be handwritten, stamped, or printed with a label.

  • Retailers may participate in the contest by collecting cards from their customers or anyone in their community. Retailers ensure their cards adhere to the same rules stated above in the Contest Rules & Regulations section.  It is up to the retailer to gather cards ethically and legally, We R Memory Keepers is not liable to any claims by retailers, partners or anyone not an agent of We R Memory Keepers.
    • Cards must be received by Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at midnight. If multiple boxes are needed, please number boxes in this format: “1 of x,” etc.
    • Retailers must submit an entry form for every 50 cards submitted. 
    • Each retail entry form will be entered into a drawing at the end of contest. The winner will receive a Lucky 8 Wall (which includes Homemade Pie, Floral Burst, Classic Wreath, Tatted Doily, Retro Scallop & Lace Kerchief Punches) – a $280 value, and a collection of your choice (eligible choices include Down the Boardwalk, Red, White & Blue, Love 2 Craft, Hall Pass or Black Widow) – a $299 value.

     

  • Each week We R Memory Keepers will pick a winner for different categories to receive various We R Memory Keepers product prizes.
  • On July 26, 2012 We R Memory Keepers will post 50 cards on its Facebook page to be voted upon by Facebook fans. Each round (top 25, 10, 5) will receive a smaller prize until the final winner is announced.
  • The final winner will be announced on July 31, 2012.
  • All winners agree that by accepting a prize, they allow We R Memory Keepers and their contest partners to add their name to the contest pages. We R Memory Keepers and partners WILL NOT give, sell, or rent winners or participants information.
  • We R Memory Keepers and their partners assume no responsibility for lost, late, illegible, damaged, missing, incomplete, or misdirected entries.

    Entrant Agreement
  • As conditions of entry into this Contest, and by entering a Submission, Entrant warrants and represents that the Submission (a) is original and has been legally created; (b) does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights or any other legal or moral rights of any third party; (c) Entrant represents that he/she owns all rights to his/her Submission, including, without limitation, the copyrights of the art contained therein, or has the permission of the entity holding the said copyrights. You can submit cards with products that you have purchased (Don’t worry; if you bought the materials you’re using on your card you can use them).
  • By sending a Submission, Entrant irrevocably grants We R Memory Keepers and its affiliates, legal representatives, assigns, agents and licensees, the right to publish the submission.
  • Entrant agrees to indemnify and hold Sponsor, its agencies and their respective affiliates, officers, directors, agents, co-branders or other partners, and any of their employees (collectively, the "Indemnities"), harmless from any and all claims, damages, expenses, costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) and liabilities (including settlements), brought or asserted by any third party against any of the indemnities due to or arising out of the Entrant's Submission, or the Entrant's conduct in creating a Submission or otherwise in connection with this Contest, including but not limited to claims for trademark infringement, copyright infringement; violation of an individual's right of publicity or right of privacy; or defamation.
  • Entrant further agrees to release Sponsor from any and all claims that any advertising subsequently produced, presented, and/or prepared by or on behalf of Sponsor infringes Entrant's rights with regard to any elements contained in any Submission.
  • Any posting of submission does not deem your entry a winner. You agree to abide by the official rules and We R Memory Keepers decisions, which are final and binding in all respects.
